The CBA collects your data that is willingly entered into forms on our website. This includes the Membership Application Form, Membership Payment Page, Sponsorship Application Form, Sponsorship Payment Form, Event Registration Form.
The information we collect about you will be transferred to and stored on our servers located within Canada. We are very careful and transparent about who else your information is shared with. We use third-party services for payment processing and managing mailing list.

User’s have a right to see, edit and delete any information the CBA has related to the individual. Please contact the CBA with any inquiries.
The information collected is used to fulfill the registration and payment functions associated with signing up to be a member, sponsor, or event attendee. E-mails will be kept for communication purposes to provide important updates. You can unsubscribe from the email lists at anytime.
We will not retain your information for any longer than we think is necessary. Information that we collect will be retained for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes outlined in the ‘Use of your information’ section above, in line with our legitimate interest or for a period specifically required by applicable regulations or laws, such as retaining the information for regulatory reporting purposes.
The Canadian Biogas Association controls creating, updating, and deleting member’s only account for logging into the Member’s area. The CBA creates a username/password when registering a new member. This information is discarded once the Member Welcome email is sent. Once a member account has been created, CBA can only reset passwords or delete the account, CBA is unable to see the current passwords.
The CBA website collects the date of your last visit to the Member’s area, and the IP of that visit.
