Call for Abstracts


2019 Value of Biogas Conference

Interested presenters for the Canadian Biogas Association’s Value of Biogas West (to be held in Vancouver on January 15th and 16th) and Value of Biogas East (to be held in Toronto in March) conferences are invited to submit presentation abstracts. Abstracts can be submitted for either or both of the Value of Biogas conferences.

For those submitting an abstract, it is recommended to focus on one of the topics below, which are the intended focus of both Value of Biogas conferences. However, all abstracts are welcome, and any abstracts with a different focus or topic will be considered. Please submit your abstract no later than Friday September 14th, 2018 by completing the Abstract Submission Form below.

 

Please note that if your abstract is selected, your organization’s presenter must register for the conference using a speaker code which will be provided once your abstract acceptance has been confirmed. Individuals are responsible for their own hotel accommodations and travel expenses.

Conference Topics

Agricultural, Industrial, Municipal, Landfill, or Wastewater Biogas/RNG

  • Challenges and opportunities for biogas/RNG production;
  • Innovations and developments related to scale, location, feedstock, etc.; or
  • Experience, updates, or lessons learned.

Case Studies

  • Agricultural, municipal, industrial, landfill, or wastewater biogas/RNG projects and/or technologies from Canada or around the world.

Economics of Biogas/RNG

  • The economics of biogas/RNG production.
  • Funding, financing and revenue opportunities.

Feedstock Pretreatment or Materials Handling

  • Challenges and opportunities for the biogas/RNG sector; or
