RNG Awareness Resources

Renewable natural gas (RNG) plays a vital role in Canada’s transition to a low-carbon economy—yet much of its potential remains untapped. Today, only 14% of available feedstock is being used for biogas and RNG production. With clear environmental and economic benefits, there’s a growing need to raise awareness and strengthen support for RNG across sectors.

To help meet this need, the Canadian Biogas Association has developed a set of new outreach tools—Spotlight Infographics and short animated videos—designed to spark conversation, inform stakeholders, and support consistent messaging across the industry. These resources highlight the benefits of RNG in transportation, electricity generation, and the broader energy landscape.

Whether you're engaging with decision-makers, presenting at events, or sharing on social media, these tools are ready to support your communications and advocacy efforts.

Explore the materials below and share them widely to amplify RNG’s role in Canada’s clean energy future.
