Elite Agri Solutions is a consulting powerhouse for farmers and small business owners. The company offers several overlapping solutions for grant applications, nutrient management, and safety processes for their agricultural clients making it an easy choice for all farming needs.
The company is headquartered in Glencoe, Ontario and started operation in 2017. The founder, Jonathan Giret started the company as he was dealing with programs for his own broiler operation in West Elgin and saw a need to help other farmers. Elite Agri Solutions works directly with agricultural producers and their certified consultants can play a big role in making sure farms are following approved practices.
The company provides services primarily in southwestern Ontario, but also has some select projects with producers across the country. Tristan Coelho, Lead Consultant, shares that “We have experienced incredible growth in the company over the last few years and we are focused on sustainably meeting the demand we have seen from farmers and the industry in general.”
Elite Agri Solutions’ interest in biogas stems from their clients who are livestock farmers and have biogas digesters or are looking into adding one to their operation. They work alongside these clients for their nutrient management planning, such as agronomic recommendations for digestate, and help with program and grant applications. Coelho notes that “We’ve noticed an increase in conversations and inquiries around biogas, so we are growing to meet that demand as well.”
Elite Agri Solutions is a unique operation, providing a suite of services relevant to agriculture. Coelho shares “We are focused on providing a more diverse set of services. For example, normally health and safety companies aren’t doing nutrient management and consulting. We also place emphasis on getting staff that are specialized in different areas.”
Elite Agri Solutions joined the Canadian Biogas Association (CBA) in summer 2023. They were interested in the value from networking and attending CBA events and believed that they could enhance agricultural participation.
