Canadian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Announces $18.79M Investment in London Anaerobic Digester & Biogas Expansion
On August 24th, the Honourable Tim Hodgson, Canada’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources joined local officials, Generate Upcycle leadership, and CBA’s Jennifer Green in announcing an $18.79M investment from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to support the expansion of the London Anaerobic Digester & Biogas Plant. The loan was provided through NRCan’s Clean Fuels Fund as part of a $1.5 billion five-year plan to support building or expanding clean fuel production facilities to meet Canada’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
