Biogas Facility Tour
The 2024 Value of Biogas East Conference provides you with the opportunity to the City of Toronto’s Ashbridges Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant. CBA is offering a tour on Monday April 15 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Note that space is limited.
Note this registration is ONLY for the Tour (registration for the conference is separate).

Buses for the Tour will leave and return to the Westin Harbour Castle at the allotted time. Spaces on the Tour will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the Tour is $80 + HST. Registration will include bus transportation to and from the facilities and light refreshments.
PLEASE NOTE STEEL TOE BOOTS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE TOUR AND YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN
Ashbridges Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant
The City of Toronto's Ashbridges Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant is the City's main sewage treatment facility serving a population of approx. 1.4 million to 1.5 Million and one of the largest treatment plants in Canada. The facility began operating in 1917 and currently has a rated capacity of 818,000 m3 per day. The tour will feature the plant’s 20 primary anaerobic digesters, biogas utilization equipment, and pelletizer facility.
