2026 Value of Biogas West Conference

Global Biogas Leadership Comes to Vancouver

Connecting International Biogas Supply, Canadian Innovation & Emerging Global Markets

DATE: Tuesday to Thursday October 6-8, 2026
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC
VENUE: Westin Bayshore Hotel

For the first time in Canada, leaders from the world’s major biogas markets will gather in Vancouver to explore how biogas, renewable natural gas, biomethane and Bio-LNG can serve the next generation of global energy demand.

As the International Maritime Organization moves toward implementing its Net-Zero Framework, international shipping is rapidly emerging as one of the world's most significant new markets for low-carbon fuels. Positioned on North America's Pacific gateway, Vancouver provides the ideal setting to bring together project developers, technology providers, fuel suppliers, policymakers, investors and end users to discuss the opportunities this global transition presents.

2026 Value of Biogas West brings together more than 350 industry leaders from Canada, the United States, Europe and Latin America to explore the technologies, policies, partnerships and business opportunities shaping the future of biogas, renewable natural gas, biomethane and Bio-LNG.

This year's conference features the inaugural United Biogas Alliance Founders Forum, alongside dedicated sessions exploring biomethane and Bio-LNG for marine applications, carbon markets, Clean Fuel Regulations, project finance, next-generation technologies, and North America's newest biogas developments.

The three-day event includes industry tours on Tuesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 8, one and a half days of conference programming on Wednesday and Thursday, an expanded open-concept exhibitor hall designed to encourage conversation and collaboration, and numerous opportunities to connect with leaders from across the global biogas industry.
