The 2021 Virtual Value of Biogas April Conference held on April 27-29 was a resounding success for the Canadian Biogas Association’s second ever full-scale virtual conference. Over three half-days of programming, the virtual conference platform recreated the in-person conference experience with information packed sessions, lively real-time chat access, face-to-face speed networking, interactive Exhibitor Booths, and dedicated Exhibitor Showcase sessions.
The 2021 Virtual Value of Biogas April Conference sessions covered every aspect of the biogas industry including the role biogas/RNG plays in reaching Canada’s climate targets, case studies, low-carbon energy pathways, and how corporations are shrinking their carbon footprints to meet sustainability goals. The global potential of biogas, policy updates from three provinces, and Canada’s municipal sector opportunities were also discussed. The event was rounded out with topics on emerging technology, prospects in agriculture and agri-food sector, digestate opportunities, feedstock research, and hydrogen.
