Project developers and municipalities across Canada are pursuing alternative contracting models that increase collaboration, flexibility, and transparency for municipal environmental infrastructure. The panel discussion will review the key aspects of a collaborative contracting model including: procurement, early engagement of contractors in the design and scope, construction, commissioning and acceptance phases and operations and maintenance. This session will be an interactive discussion on the key areas for the development of the continuous collaborative approach as well as address the pros and cons for municipal and private organic waste/biogas projects.
